Ep 054: Mark Martin Professional Walleye Angler

Mark has spend almost the last 30 years making a living as a professional angler, best known for the numerous walleye tournament wins. Mark has been fishing his whole life, but cemented his reputation by fishing walleye at night.

Episode 051: Mike Defibaugh – Professional Fisherman

In the episode I get to interview Mike Defibaugh who is a Professional Walleye Angler. This was Mike’s first year fishing as a pro in the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour (http://www.nationalwalleyetour.com) after years of fishing as a semi-pro. Mike had an impressive finish to win the first stop on Lake Erie  in the 2017 NWT and take home $61,000 in prize’s and money. Mike donated his cash winnings this year to Make a Wish (http://www.wish.org), and that amounted to $15,000 for just this tournament. Mike provides some great information on how the tournament works, some equipment that can be used for Walleye Fishing and how the co-angler spot on the tournament works.
