Episode 067: Dan Burns – President of Nevin’s Hunting Friends

In this episode, I talk with Daniel Burns, whose son came up with the idea to start Nevin’s Hunting Friends (http://www.nevinshuntingfriends.com). A group dedicated to getting kids with special needs outdoors. Their mission is simple, “to help those kids that have trouble getting into the woods due to their illness”.

Episode 060: Chris Caffery – Musician and Hunter

Chris is a famous musician, playing guitar for the band Savatage (http://www.savatage.com) and one of the founding members of Tran-Siberian Orchestra (http://www.trans-siberian.com/index/home). Not only is Chris a master at the guitar, you will also find him using his bow and crossbow out in the field hunting for whitetail and turkey in his New York home. Chris also likes to fish for the various types of fish found in the waters of New York state.

Episode 051: Mike Defibaugh – Professional Fisherman

In the episode I get to interview Mike Defibaugh who is a Professional Walleye Angler. This was Mike’s first year fishing as a pro in the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour (http://www.nationalwalleyetour.com) after years of fishing as a semi-pro. Mike had an impressive finish to win the first stop on Lake Erie  in the 2017 NWT and take home $61,000 in prize’s and money. Mike donated his cash winnings this year to Make a Wish (http://www.wish.org), and that amounted to $15,000 for just this tournament.
